Numbers that don't add up get flagged, not buried

Reading a document is only half the job. Every result is checked, and anything that fails is highlighted in yellow in your spreadsheet with a note saying why. You still get the file, so you can go and look at the original.

Invoices and receipts

  • The line items add up to the subtotal.
  • The subtotal plus tax (and tip) equals the total.

Bank statements

  • Opening balance plus credits minus debits equals the closing balance.
  • Every running balance follows from the row before it.

These checks catch a lot, but they are an aid, not a guarantee. Always confirm figures that matter against the original document.

Your documents stay yours

  • Your files, the extracted data and your spreadsheets are deleted from our systems 24 hours after a job finishes.
  • We never use your documents to train AI models.
  • Your files are private to your account and only ever shared through short-lived links.

Pages are read by Anthropic's Claude API, which keeps API data on its own systems for a limited time. The privacy page has the details.
