Terms of use

These terms are between you and Mohamed Abdul Hameed (“we”), who runs ClarifyMuch (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service for a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service reads invoices, receipts and bank statements that you upload and turns them into spreadsheet files (XLSX and CSV), running automatic checks on the numbers. We may change, improve or remove features over time.

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, so you are responsible for keeping that mailbox secure and for everything done through your account.

• One credit processes one page. New accounts receive 5 free credits.
• The first page of any document can be previewed without using a credit, within the daily preview limit.
• Credits don't expire, have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged.
• Credits are bought in packs, paid in USDT through a third-party crypto payment processor. Blockchain payments can't be reversed once sent. Prices may change before purchasing opens and afterwards for future purchases.
• Automatic refunds: if processing fails, the credits for pages that weren't processed are returned to your balance automatically, and if we can't produce your spreadsheets at all, all of the job's credits are returned.
• A job flagged “needs review” has been processed and delivered, so its credits are not refunded: the flag means one of our checks found numbers that don't add up, which can be an error in the original document.
• No other refunds. Purchases of credits are final. Beyond the automatic refunds above, we don't offer refunds for purchased credits, including for unused credits or credits remaining when an account is closed.

• You must have the right to upload the documents you submit and to have them processed by us and our service providers, including where they contain other people's personal data.
• You keep all rights in your documents. You give us permission to process them solely to provide the service to you.
• We delete your files, extracted data and generated spreadsheets 24 hours after a job finishes. Download what you need before then; we can't recover deleted files. See the privacy page for the details, including how our AI provider handles data.

You agree not to:

• upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share;
• try to get around limits, rate limits or credit accounting, or to interfere with or overload the service;
• upload malicious files, or probe or attack the service or other users' data;
• use the service to build a competing product, or resell it, without our written agreement.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

The service uses AI to read documents, and AI makes mistakes: it can misread, miss or mis-assign figures. Our automatic checks catch many errors but not all of them, and a document that passes the checks can still be wrong. The output is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing results against the original documents before relying on them.

We aim to keep the service running but provide it “as is” and “as available”, and we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

[The limitation-of-liability clause has not been written yet. It needs to be drafted with a lawyer for the jurisdiction that governs these terms.] Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

You can stop using the service at any time. To close your account, contact us at [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to by law. As explained in section 4, purchased credits are non-refundable, including any that are unused when an account is closed.

These terms are governed by [the governing law and courts have not been chosen yet].
